"Vandalorum and Krauhl are two dungeon synth artists who collaborated to create a blend of dark wave and dungeon synth music. Underneath is the result of this experiment.

Our influences include artists like The Cure, She Past Away, and Lebanon Hanover, and the synth interludes and melodies are inspired by dungeon synth artists such as Illusory Gates, Shi.rar, and Guild of Lore.

Songs were written and recorded between 2022-2023"

This release gives me a feeling of watching midnight movies in a rundown theater on the edge of town with a few other brave souls. As we emerge blinking into the thick darkness all the horrors we saw onscreen start creeping out from the shadows, flapping wetly across the moon, skittering down from the trees, clutching icily at our ankles through the churning dirt.
