A new Blood Tower album is always cause for celebration—the depth of vision Lord Bill packs into each gemlike song is astounding. This release gives me a feeling of watching midnight movies in a rundown theater on the edge of town with a few other brave souls. As we emerge blinking into the thick darkness all the horrors we saw onscreen start creeping out from the shadows, flapping wetly across the moon, skittering down from the trees, clutching icily at our ankles through the churning dirt.

Excellent dungeon synth with a very personal dark/epic/gothic touch, with melodies which will stick to your head for weeks. I’ve been recently in Venice, one of the most beautiful and decadent cities in the world, it was cloudy and rainy, and this has been the perfect soundtrack. Can’t wait for more DS by Chaos Luciferi. A full length is eagerly needed.
