I love the mix of quiet melancholy and soaring wonder here. Listening makes me feel like I am looking up at the night sky on another world, watching impossible boreal colors dance along the horizon while tall trees sway in the keening wind, and gray-cloaked figures add their own long-dead voices to the joyful lament.

My least favorite of his three releases so far, but still quite good. The album feels more...narrative driven than the previous two. Makes me think the three albums are telling a story without words (aside from the speech on a couple songs) and I only now caught on.
